A wrap-up of WTCE 2019

Arguably the largest and busiest event of its’ kind, the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo was as successful as ever for Portfolio. Our stand had a new shelf layout on the back wall, displaying a variety of suppliers from snack-bar producer Kind, to hazelnut giant Ferrero, and with many of our core brands on display counters we were proud of both the quality and the size of the brands we were lucky enough to represent. With four new Portfolio team members at the show, this year offered fresh knowledge to the suppliers and a huge learning experience for the new team members.

The week didn’t just involve attending the show, however. We attended the Onboard Hospitality Awards on the Monday Night, which has categories such as ‘Ones to watch not yet onboard’ and ‘Best for onboard catering innovation’ and uses a panel of 20 judges with a wealth of expertise and experience.

Dinners were hosted, a fantastic corporate event was attended, meetings were held and relationships were strengthened. And that’s a wrap - another enjoyable and successful year for Portfolio!
